I put my house on the market just about one and a half months after another friend of mine. I used Terri, he used another agent. Both houses were very similar in size and price range, the difference was that Terri worked very hard for me to help stage and prep the things needed to get the house to sell. Mine sold in around thirty days, while my friend’s house went for the whole six month contract without selling and he even lost the new house he wanted. Terri was so very helpful in helping our family move into our first home. I decided to purchase a home in Logan for my son attending USU. I was unfamiliar with the local market and because I live out of state I could not do much physical research myself. My son attended an open house for one of Terri’s listings and she immediately took my 18 year old son seriously. I assume many others would not have taken him as a serious buyer. The home that she was showing that day did not work out, however that did not distract Terri. She set up several other homes for my son to look at. Of course since I, the father was not familiar with the area I had many questions by phone and email. Terri provided a market analysis explained the positives and negatives of different neighborhoods and provided me with utilities and property tax estimates so that I could make a better informed decision. We found a home and made an offer. Terri immediately developed a purchase strategy and we were able to complete the deal on favorable terms. After our home inspection, the discovery of a major issue with the home could have ended the deal. Again Terri maintained her cool and again was able to develop a strategy to continue with the purchase, now with more favorable terms – including a home warrantee. She enlisted the help of local contractors to reexamine the situation and to give non bias recommendations to remedy the issue. I cannot count the many times Terri met with different people at the house to provide solutions and remedies. She went way out of her way. Terri worked through the holidays to ensure a smooth transition. Her detailed communications and step by step outline assured me that this transaction would go very smooth. I have purchased many properties in my life and none had gone as smoothly as my purchase in Logan.
